How I work
Grief does not move in stages, and new parenthood does not feel the way the cards say it will. I work with people in the middle of enormous change who are tired of being told how they ought to feel about it.
Sessions with me are gentle and honest. There is room for the feelings that seem unsayable: relief, rage, regret, numbness. None of them frighten me.
Background
I trained as a hospice social worker and later specialised in perinatal mental health. I facilitate Aubade’s grief and new-parent circles, and I see individual clients in three languages.
